This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to eliminate or minimise the risk of falls when working at height, and applies to those working in construction, maintenance and site-based roles.

Delivered under the Timor-Leste Kódigu Prátika COP-WH-TL, the course covers the hierarchy of controls, fall prevention devices, work positioning, fall arrest systems and rescue planning.

- Identify fall hazards and assess the risk before work begins

- Select, inspect and fit harnesses, lanyards and anchorage
- Set up guardrails, travel restraint and work positioning systems
- Prepare and follow a Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS)
- Establish emergency and rescue procedures
